MS78: I also enjoy Richard Bernabe's photography. My favorite Photographer and instructor is Scott Kelby. Watching his instructional videos is like going on a photo shoot with your best friend. He teaches in such a great, simple manner. I was lucky enough to join his workshop to Lisbon, Portugal last year. He only takes 12 students, and it is very difficult to join his workshops as former students have first priority, then those who sign up ahead of time to receive notification of upcoming workshops and finally a public announcement on all the various social media outlets. Many times all the slots are taken by former students, so I was very fortunate to join. The workshop was amazing, and I learned so much in just four days. It was quite intense and went from 5:00 am (sometimes earlier) thru 11:00pm or later. We had to submit two images for our final class and the top three images for the group were voted on by the class participants and two instructors. Imagine my surprise when one of my images won second place. I hope that I can take another workshop sometime in the future. I agree that the best camera is the one you carry with you, which most often is my smartphone.
Maven: How exciting to have been able to join his workshop in person. I have been a fan of his also. I have his set of digital photography books that I go through every now and again to refresh. Congrats on your photo ranking. You must have felt very proud.
