dinner venue

Curious in Glacier National Park how dinners were arranged? Looking forward to the trip!

  • At Many Glacier hotel, we ate dinner in the Ptarmigan Dining Room. It was crowded the night that we stayed (it was a weekend) so there was a wait. However, it moved fairly fast. There is an area near the dining room where you can sit, have a drink, and view the lake. At Lake McDonald Lodge, we ate in Russell's Fireside Dining Room. The lodge is much smaller than Many Glacier. After we settled in our room, we went to the dining room to see if we needed a reservation. However, we really did not need a reservation because they had an available table. In both places, the food was excellent and they had plenty of servers. Dress is casual in both dining rooms.

I'm sure you will have a wonderful trip. Our trip far exceeded our expectations.
