September 2024- We spent two extra days in Dublin and could have used more time. The Kilmainham Gaul reservations open 28 days in advance online, midnight Ireland time. Trinity college tour and book of Kells also ordered in advance, but not sure how far in advance. We highly recommend www.newgrangetours.com . Pick up near hotel. Our friends loved their literary pub crawl and food tasting tour. Many museums are free and definitely worthwhile. You will need to pick and choose!! IF you are interested in the hotel spas, you will need to book in advance. At the start of the trip, ask your TD when you will be free for the spa. On day 4 in Belfast, the hotel booked a black taxi tour for us so that we were able to delve more into the "troubles". At Kylemore Abbey, by their cream Irish Whiskey.
