How Handicap Accessible is Le Bellot (and all of the other Ponant Explorer Class Large Yachts)
Handicap Accessibility of a cruise ship is an important consideration for many travelers. In my new video series, I look at the 144+ passenger Le Bellot Explorer Class Large Yacht cruise ship to see how handicap accessible the ship and cabin are. To even board the cruise ship, all passengers must be able to climb up a 26+ step gangway. If you can climb up and down the gangway and if you obtain one of the few handicap cabins, I see no reason why a modestly handicap person using sticks or a walker cannot enjoy a cruise on this Ponant Class ship.
The video would also apply to the other 5 identical Ponant Explorer Series Yachts Class of Ships. The standard size cabins are not handicap accessible. Please see Le Bellot Cabin #609 video. This video also applies to Le Champlain, the Ponant ship that Tauck will use in 2025.
