Acceptable Attire in Temples on VCT Tour

We're traveling on the VCT tour in Feb '25. Except for the visit to the Grand Palace in Bangkok where the dress is more conservative, is sleeveless attire for women, with shoulders covered by a wrap, acceptable in the rest of the temples we visit? Are normal length shorts acceptable as well? Thanks in advance. We're excited to be going on this tour.

Shoulders covered by wrap works just fine. Knees covered, so if your "normal" length shorts cover your knees . . .

  • I always travel with a small, lace head covering and wear it whenever entering any place of worship. For mosques I use a larger neck scarf around my head. It may or may not be explicitly required any longer, but I do so out of deference and humility.
