You need a two prong 250 volt adapter plug. Most dryers have dual voltage so no need for a converter. I brought several with me, but it is hard to find one with a really large opening for the larger side of the American plug. I bought one in Verona at a store and the owner enlarged it for me. Maybe someone else has more info. Enjoy your trip!

    Hi NATALIEFROMPA,

To use certain electrical appliances, you will need to bring a converter which converts U.S. 110 volts European 220 volts, along with an adapter which adapts the U.S. two-pronged plug to the appropriate local design. These items can be purchased at your local electronics or travel store. Please note that most modern laptop, cell phone and digital camera chargers are dual voltage and will work perfectly in Europe with just a simple adapter plug.

Here is a website to help you: www.voltagevalet.com/country.html

Also, most of our hotels in Italy provide hairdryers. If you let me know which tour your on, I can double check for you.

    Hope this helps,
    Emily
