    We will be there and very much looking forward to the trip. We are coming from the East coast on Korean Air
    to Hanoi.

    We also are from the East coast and are flying Cathay Pacific. Arriving in Hanoi a day early and spending a night in Hong Kong on the way home. Also are looking forward to the trip. This is our second Tauck trip and our first was terrific.

    Went to the Travel Doctor and there is no need for either for the Yellow Fever shot or malaria pills. However took the typhoid shot. Also should have Hep A if you haven't already.

    Our doctor and friend did extensive research and is recommending Japanese encephalitis vaccine. But haven't seen that mentioned at all?

    Our travel doctor made no mention of it at all and we spoke with her for nearly an hour. Had used her before, when we traveled to East Africa, and she is excellent and extremely cautious.

    Are you flying JAL from Boston or NY? We are on a flight from Boston leaving March 13. We arrive in Hanoi via Tokyo March 14th at 10:30pm

    We are flying out of NY on the 12th via Tokyo. Leaving Bangkok on the 30Th appox. 11PM to Tokyo and then on to NY. Are you on the BKK-NRT leg?

    We leave on the 13th and return on April 4th as we are extending to Phuket.
