visa blank page requirements

Since we will be entering South Africa twice on this tour, does this mean we have to have two sets of side by side blank visa pages for a total of 4 blank visa pages.

  • Hello Yaz,

Two pages will be enough. It is required that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond the completion of the tour. Recent new rules at South Africa's airports also require that anyone traveling to South Africa must have two consecutive blank pages in their passport which lie side by
side when the passport is open (i.e. a left and a right hand page).

U.S. citizens who need to add extra pages to their passport, should go to the following website http://travel.state.gov/extra_pages.html. Here you will find instructions on how to add extra pages to your passport. If you do not have a computer, you should call your nearest U.S. passport agency for
    information on this process.

    Hope this helps,
    Emily
