How concerned should I be about the safety of going to Turkey on the Treasures of the Aegean tour? I am acutely aware that danger lurks in every corner of the planet, but I am second-guessing putting myself in the crosshairs. Would love to hear some thoughts from some who have been on this trip recently.

    My husband and I had the same concerns. BUT Turkey is terrific. Such a surprise. Loved everything about it. Even saw a famous American politician coming out of the Grand Bazaar. I would go back in a heartbeat. Turkey is modern and way ahead of a lot of other places I have been. Go, you will be delighted. And this particular tour is spectacular!
