London - Heathrow Connection

What is the best choice for travelling from Heathrow to central London? The Travel Guides suggest Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect. With big bags I want to know which is the best choice.
[Note: Our tour begins in Edinburgh on Aug. 4 so we are visiting Londo on our own for a few days. Thus the Tauck transfer is not an option]

    I have not used either transport service, but some time ago did some research in regard to transfer services from LHR. Here are some additional options. Have a great trip. We will be taking this tour Sept. 15. Hope you will report back once you return.

    Good to hear your transport is in place. Also good to hear who does not respond, as this would be a business I would steer clear of. I do hope you will post your tour experiences, as well as if you were pleased with this transport service, upon your return. We are taking this tour Sept. 15. Fast approaching and we can't wait.
