Hi, my husband and I are booked on the best of Ireland tour for June 5 2014. I've done this tour in 2008 and enjoyed it immensely. My question is this. Do they still recommend that you bring a power converter/adapter? I took one on the 2008 tour and found that I did not need it as most of the hotels had duel power plugs.

    I used an adapter everywhere. You only need a converter if you take something that is not dual powered (110 and 220). Almost everything today has dual power. Enjoy your trip.....again. The hotels didn't have dual power but with an adapter, all of my chargers (cell phone, cameras, computer, iPad, etc) operate on both so it didn't matter.
