Barcelona to Paris

We're running out of Tauck tours but are considering Barcelona to Paris in October. I couldn't find any posts on this tour. I'm most concerned about the amount of time we will spend on a bus. At least two of the hotels are close to 200 miles apart and I don't think high speed highways connect most of the cities so 3,4 or even 5 hours on a bus should be expected. Would like to hear from some who have taken the tour and others who are considering it. Thanks

  • Not having been on the Barcelona to Paris tour, I can't address that specifically. But on other Tauck tours we've been on, when having to travel a long distance, Tauck has always made their routes include sighting-seeing stops, lunch stops, etc. I really don't remember any motor coach ride being more than 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
  • The Barcelona to Paris trip is wonderful. There are a couple of days that you are on the bus longer but you stop for breaks, sightseeing and lunch. There is so much to do on this trip that you will welcome the snooze time on the bus or just relax and view the scenery.
  • I am also planning a Barcelona after my us west coast tours in vacations. It is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting millions upon millions of visitors each year. This city has something for everyone; families, couples and singletons alike.

Goodness, have you abandoned your plans for Melbourne Zoo? I'm shattered. Still, your cut and paste skills are moving along.
