Budapest to Amsterdam 7/06/2014
Pat and I are on the 7/6 trip and have found out that we do not actually dock in Amsterdam proper . We dock in Utrecht , a few miles from central Amsterdam and shuttled there for the museums, lunch and free time.
We do not see this as any issue . We want to see the windmills at Zaanse Schans that are not on our itinerary but the local tours do not fit in with our schedule . I did some inquires and found that there is a bus #391 on public transportation from Central Station to Zaanse Schans that runs 2x/hr (drive time and cost unknown at this time). There seems to be three stops where apparently there are things to see (IE. markets )
any info out there on this subject ??? hope all have a safe journey and see you on deck ( Budapest )
