Extra day in Santiago
Just want to write a quick note about the first day (and only) in Santiago. I recommend arriving a day early to start the trip. There is a very early wake up call to go to Patigonia, Chile (5am the next day to have your luggage ready). With the traveling and adjusting to the new area and little sleep, it was too much. Plus you really cannot enjoy Santiago in a few hours. There is a nice shopping mall about 5 minute walk from the hotel, but a good majority of the stores were American.
