Any recommendations to go on Italian Lakes tour 9/4 or 10/6? Didn't know which would be best weather wise.Any thoughts to take small group tour or normal size.Never been on a Tauck Tour, they sound wonderful. 1st time to Europe.Retired 3 yrs ago,wife & I looking forward to this.Thanks for anyone's thoughts.     I took a tour once and a lady from Italy was on it, so I asked what she recommended. She said her favorite time is in Sept. Not too hot, and not too rainy. I went 1st 2 weeks of Sept. this past year on the Classic Italy tour and was not disappointed. We had very little rain and the temps were not bad. This is a great trip. I can not wait to go back to do the Northern Italy tour.
