Anybody going to stay in Munich or Oktoberfest after Danube Reflections cruise in Sept? Any suggestions on hotels?
Hi, we just completed our cruise and stayed 2 nights in Munich. Although we didn't stay in the Charles which looked very nice we did stay a half block from there in a neat hotel called the Eden Hotel Wolff . A quaint hotel with very good desk staff & fluent english . Super convenient to transit and a 5 minute walk to Augustiner beer garden. rooms were clean and breakfast can be included if you look on line. Breakfast was very good as was the dinner in the in house restaurant off the lobby. Price for the hotel was very good value. ask for a room on the quiet side when you make the reservation. Highly recommended for quality and location. PS the beer comes in giant one litre mugs so have fun and sample the pork knuckle or spit roasted mackerel . Tons of fun.
