Tauck does not do planned shopping trips, but there are places along the way to shop whether it be shops at the lodges or some bargaining at the Zambia border.
When coming through the international terminal at Johannesberg, South Africa airport there is a BIG "out of Africa" store. I know you probably don't want to buy any souvenirs before the trip starts, but this is a great store and much larger than the one in Cape Town near the hotel.
