Classic Safari: Kenya and Tanzania starting July 12

Hoping that some of our fellow travelers will be checking in on this forum and to say hello. We signed on months ago and have sent off our visa applications, had our shots, and can't wait to start packing. We are 'seniors' living in Fort Myers, Florida with our roots still deep at a lake in Michigan. This trip has been on our bucket list for years. It may be the last one, but hopefully the best ever.

    Just beginning to look into the safaris. My mother lives in Ft Myers as well and she and I are considering this trip. Not sure of shots and such though. Your trip will be too soon to join however. Just wondered your opinion on choosing this trip as opposed to the other Africa destinations.

    We are going on the Serengeti to Zanzibar trip on 24 May. Does anyone know if the Lake Duluti Lodge (formerly Mountain Village Lodge) has days trips such as getting close to Mount Kilimanjaro or around the Arusha area? Also do the Serena Lodges readily accept credit cards?
