galapagos islands

Hi, I'm booked for a trip next May 2015, does anyone know how to go about booking scuba diving? (even if it has to be done with a private dive boat for a day) I know there is snorkeling but would love to dive in Galapagos..

thanks

  • Hi DGuadara,

Unfortunately, scuba diving is not offered on this tour through Tauck. However, snorkeling opportunities are available during the Galapagos cruise portion of the tour. Snorkel gear is available aboard the ship (if you have prescription lenses you should bring them). You can keep your issued equipment and net bag until the end of the cruise. Guests can use any of the on board equipment at no charge and are also welcome to bring their own, if they wish. You may also wish to bring an underwater camera.
Sea temperatures in Feb - Apr are in the high 70s F, and in Sep - Oct are in the low 70s F. Air temperatures in Feb - Apr average around 80 F, and in Sep - Oct are closer to 70 F.

I hope this helps a bit!
    -Tim
