We went on the trip in 2013 that left on September 9. I felt we had perfect weather. It was cold some nights but during the day in the Kalahari it was warm. Also, was it was coming out of the dry season which was good because there was less water and higher concentrations of animals around what water was available. Plus there were hardly any mosquitos.
We did this trip September 20 through October 3. The weather was perfect -- not too hot, no rainy days, absolutely no mosquitos. This was one of the most fantastic trips we have done.
