monastic settlement of Glendalough on Week in Ireland trip

To those of you who've taken the Week in Ireland tour, I pose a logistics question:

My husband and I are leaving the Week in Ireland trip a day early to join another Tauck tour. We really don't want to miss the monastic settlement of Glendalough, but need to leave Dublin on an early afternoon flight (2:30). Is it logistically possible to visit Wicklow and be back at the hotel in time to be picked up and taken to the airport for a mid-afternoon flight?

    As I recall it was a pretty long drive..I wouldn't chance it.

    Not sure if you already left. The settlement of Glendalough was our least favorite part of the tour. I would have rather they did the Gaol or something else.
