If you have taken this trip or intend to take it in the next 3+ months, did you take the shots for Japanese encephalitis? I know the chances of getting it are slim but 1 in 4 who do get it die. Comments.

    I'm going Jan 29.....I'm seeing my family doc end of this month for routine check and plan to discuss with him and then will visit a travel clinic in our local hospital. A lot depends where you are going and what your doing AND how long. Be specific when seeing the professionals, this is a luxury tour. Sometimes you can get severe allergic reactions for unnecessary immunizations. Read up on the cdc.gov site on the traveler's health tab before your appts. Between your family doc and travel clinic you should reach a decision for you. Hope this helps.
