    We were in Hong Kong shortly after the protests started, and I must say, these were the most polite protesters I have ever come across. I went into the main shopping area one day around Ocean Terminal, and saw them sitting on the ground, but one could easily walk past and around them. They seemed to be sitting quietly and just chatting amongst themselves. They didn't seem to pose any inconvenience to tourists.
