February 13 trip

My husband and I will be on this trip, and we will arrive a day early in Santiago. We would like to talk to other travelers, especially any who might be arriving early. We want to do some sightseeing, but we are uncertain about what to see or do...maybe set up a private guide/driver???
Any ideas??
I am also getting really worried about what to pack. I have been watching the weather, and I am afraid I am going to freeze!

    We didn't do this tour but did the Essence of South America that began in Santiago. We went in a day early and used Santiago Adventures for a day trip to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. It was a great day.
