Booked on British Airways for South Africa: An Elegant Adventure?

We were originally booked NY to London, connecting to Capetown, but our superb travel agent, while checking on tickets for another trip, noticed that BA has cancelled their 7 AM flight out of Kennedy, so we would have had a 9 hour layover with the new schedule. She quickly switched us to KLM, that had a much better schedule, and saved us $2000 to boot! Check your flights, if you were counting on BA out of Kennedy!
