We just learned, 6 months after booking, that our first and second days are reversed and day of arrival will be the private evening Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel tour since Museums are closed on Sunday, which they apparently have been for many years. Hopefully, there are no flight delays for day of arrival.
Concerned because the Sistine Chapel and Herculaneum were the primary reasons we booked this particular tour, starting June 6, 2015. We know from previous travel with Tauck that last minute glitches happen and they are well taken care of but this Sunday closure should have been known. Had we known, we might have come a day earlier.
Are there any other itinerary changes that we need to know about on this trip?
