Sicily:Culture through the Ages/Sept. 11-20, 2015
I'm a solo traveler on the Sicily/Culture thro the Ages, September 11-20, 2015. I know it's a bit early to be posting but
I reserved months ago - wondering if anyone seeing this post is going then and a question for anyone who has
already taken this tour - I'm booking some excursions from Taormina, our last stay of tour cause I'm staying a few days
extra in Taormina and wondering how much do you see of Mt. Etna? Does Tauck coach actually stop there ande we get out of coach?
I understand you can go up Mt. Aetna by foot or Jeep which has that option on a day excursion out of Taormina.
There's also another excursion for a sunset Mt. Etna tour from Taormina one of which I'd book during my stay after
the Tauck tour.
I've taken several Tauck tours, among them were two event ones; the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany and the
New Year's Eve, New Year's Day Rose Bowl Parade in Cal., both Great as were all the other tours.
