First Tauck Tour

Going with friends on our first Tauck tour in October. Italian Lakes tour. Just informed that our private after hours tour has been cancelled. Very disappointing. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions on must do things or places to eat?

    We have experienced unexpected changes in our itineraries when traveling and touring with Tauck, and we have still enjoyed every minute of our tours.
    In western Canada, two wildland fires stopped the train from arriving in Jasper on time. Our Tour Director provided us with an unexpected lake tour, and arranged for suppers at a local hotel before the train was able to arrive. In addition, due to the change in timing, we descended through the Fraser River Valley during the daylight hours and got to see a lot of the country side that we would have had to have missed in the dark if the train had arrived on time.
    Yes, itineraries change, but that is part of the adventure when traveling with Tauck.
