Laundry On The Danube River Cruise

We will be cruising the Danube in late September/October and I inquired about laundry facilities and was informed that laundry is left at one stop and then is back on the ship 24 hours later. I guess that's OK but wonder how this has worked for other travelers. Thanks very much. North Carolina Polkaman

I was on the Blue Danube cruise last month on the MS Savor. I had to have my windbreaker jacket cleaned - because my husband spilled his beverage on me. We were cruising on the river when I called the Front desk to have the jacket picked up to be cleaned. It was a jacket that could be laundered and not dry cleaned. The person at the front desk did mention they could not dry clean it - which was fine with me because it didn't need that.

I had the jacket back the next day. It was delivered at the time the room steward was cleaning our room.

I was under the impression that they did the cleaning on the ship.

Hi Ted and Terry,

You're right on the Polish heritage, but we are on the East bound cruise on September 25th. Maybe, our ships will pass eachother and we can yell a "sto lat" to one and all. Looking forward to the cruise. But, still would like to find out a little more on the laundry.
