packing medication for emergencies
I recommend bringing some form of anti-diarrhea medication as a precaution on this trip. I took this tour Aug-Sept 2011. On the last 3 days I felt ill, but thought I was just tired from a busy trip. Instead, after arriving home doctors diagnosed as salmonella food poisoning.
Since all my meals in Russia were eaten in Tauck's hotels or with the tour group I feel it necessary to alert fellow travelers on this trip.
