additional days in Moscow -- Russian Glories, Baltic Treasures

I will be on the June 7, 2017, trip with Tauck. I plan to arrive in Vilnius a couple days early as there will be a music festival there (not certain of the dates but I was told that they will be similar to the dates in 2016). Since I do not anticipate returning to Russia, I want to make sure that I see as much as I can while I am there. I have done quite a bit of reading, and it seems that one can easily spend more time both in Moscow and in the environs, particularly the latter with a private guide.

I would like to know whether anyone else has extended their time in Moscow and if you would recommend that. I also am interested in whether anyone on the 6/7/17 tour is considering additional days in Moscow.
