New museum in Cairo

We are scheduled to go on Petra to the Pyramids in January 2026. Does anyone know how much time you have to visit the GEM in Cairo?

    According to the Global Journeys and Safaris book Tauck sent out, visits to the GEM are late afternoon on day 11. The website only makes mention of a visit to the Egyptian Museum , which is actually a different museum, so they are not in sync. The GEM is quite close to the Marriott Mena House. We are on one of the trips in January 2026 as well, and plan on spending an extra day after the end of the tour at the GEM. If anyone has anymore info please feel free to embellish.
