Three to a Cabin??

There are three adults, all related, who would like to take this tour, Can the riverboat handle three to a cabin or is it better to get separate cabins and pay the single supplement.

  • The best is to all get Cat 1 cabins so each has their own cabin, bathroom and no Single Supplement. The Cat 7 suites can be set up with 2 twin beds and they have a small pullout sofa. Fyi, all cabins can have twin beds or a queen bed.

  • joel_gellman - Although comfortable for two adults, three in the largest cabin class (300 sq. ft.) would not be very comfortable in my opinion. Even if all are the same gender, I think there would still be a privacy issue. I wouldn’t want to share a bathroom with two other people, but that is just me.

    Agree w/Claudia. Either all get a separate Cat 1 room (no single supplement in Cat 1 rooms) - or you can do 2 to a room in Cat 1 and the other person get their own. Depends on what you all want to spend. 2 people could also get a Cat 2 or 3 room if they wanted a larger room and the single could get Cat 1. Agree w/ kfnknfzk = 3 to a room will be too tight - you have better options. You are rarely in the room - all you really need is a bed and shower and place to get dressed.

  • I agree with all the above. Three to a room could be a bad scenario. It could end a good friendship. Just saying. I’d love to have my own bathroom anyway.

  • I would never book three.adults in a stateroom. I actually try to book rooms next to a public WC which is almost like having two bathrooms. I know many savvy people book multiple cat one staterooms in order to have a bathroom for each person. The best alternative I have found is the Cat 3 rooms on the Savor class boats. The loft area becomes my room during the dressing process.

    class with the loft
