Staying at the Palace hotel and looking for some restaurants for the extra days we are staying in Lisbon at the end of the tour. Thanks,Sheri

    We like the Alfama district for its ‘mom and pop’ eateries. Octopus in Portugal is my favorite.

    We ate at Pateo 51 last year. We had a local dish called cataplayna which was a fish stew. It's to be shared. We both thought it was wonderful. When you get the address....this restaurant is down a staircase on a courtyard and may be easily missed. Look for the address and go down the stairs where the number should be.
