Which excursions is best the Tauck Classic which is exploring Porto by land, river, and air and Porto: the historical city? Appreciate your insight.

    It really depends on your interests. We did the land, sea, air and thoroughly enjoyed it, the gondola ride being the most enjoyable because of the views. We heard great things about the other excursion, especially a visit to the train station with its beautiful interior. We had been to the station on a different tour and chose to do something different. You really can’t go wrong with either excursion. Enjoy.

    So happy to see these wonderful comments. We’re going this Fall. This will be our 3rd Tauck riverboat cruise, and 7th Tauck trip.

    MarGar- Depending on when in the fall you are going, you just might see the vineyards along the Douro in their fall foliage splendor. It’s a fabulous tour. Enjoy.
