On day 3 in Cape Town the daily schedule shows back at the hotel at approximately 4:30pm. On our tour we were back around 5:00pm.
On day 9 in Johannesburg the schedule shows back at the hotel at approximately 3:00pm. For us our actual timing in Johannesburg was atypical due to hotel problems.
Many thanks! I am wondering if anyone remembers the name of the winery the wine dinner is held on on the second night, we are thinking of going to another winery for dinner the third night, also wondering if anyone has been to LaColombe, since it is also at a winery, certainly did not want to repeat.
The wine pairing dinner on day 2 was at The Cellars-Hohenort, a resort hotel in the Constantia Valley. (This is the hotel used at the start of the new nine-day Spotlight on South Africa and Victoria Falls tour). I rate this as the best dinner on the tour. The food and wine were excellent, as was the service and ambiance.
Oh many thanks!
On another subject is it safe to eat salad, etc in the hotel and fine restaurants in Capetown, drinks with ice?

Yes, safe in Cape Town. Cape Town has some very wealthy areas with huge houses. The hotels are wonderful and food very good. You can eat anything. They don’t want patrons being sick all over.
