South Africa bottled water
On past Tauck tours, we have always been provided bottles of water as needed. Is the South Africa Elegant adventure the same? I do not want to carry my own reusable water bottle if I can avoid it. But I also don’t ant to make sure we stay hydrated. Thanks for ant advice.

Every time I bother to take my own water bottle, Tauck provides them! I have been on tours where you have to keep refilling from a big container but they have always provided the first bottle.
I don’t like to use reusable water bottles that I can’t clean regularly with soap and clean water, so for me I’m glad that there are plastic water bottles. I rarely use bottled water at home so I don’t feel guilty using them on vacation.
No need to bring a reusable water bottle. Bottled water was provided in all hotels and safari camps, and in the tour busses and safari vehicles.
According to the notes in my packet for the October 22 South Africa Elegant Adventure departure: _____To help avoid contracting a stomach ailment, we strongly recommend that you drink only bottled water during your travels throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe. We will have limited amounts of complimentary bottled water available aboard the motorcoach for your enjoyment during travel and sightseeing. All of our hotels in South Africa and Zimbabwe make ice cubes from purified water. Your Tour Director will advise, if this is not the case._____
There was no mention in the 'what to pack' list about bringing your own water bottle and I have seen that listed in packing suggestions for other Tauck trips I've taken. However, even then there was always bottled water available on the coach.
There is bottled water in abundance on every leg of your South Africa Elegant Adventure trip. We even received 2 metal bottles provided by the hotel / safari camps we stayed in. No need to bring your own bottle! Have fun!
Thank you everyone! One less worry as we’re packing.😊
