Barcelona to Porto, April 3, 2026
My friend and I are doing the land tour beginning April 3. It’s our first Tauck tour and we couldn’t be more excited! I’m just curious if anyone reading this has completed this tour and if there are any suggestions for making the most of it. Also, we added two days to the front in Barcelona and wonder what NOT to miss. I am not interested in the mussel farm day at the end of the tour, so hope I can opt out somehow. Is that allowed? Thanks for any advice. 🙏

Depending on your interests, these were sites I enjoyed in Barcelona on my own: Maritime Museum, Palau Guell (Gaudi's first commission), Santa Maria Del Mar (Cathedral of the Sea - 14th century), Roman ruins underground at the Museo d'Historia de Barcelona
On our own in Barcelona, we visited two of the Gaudi houses, as well as Park Guell. We also enjoyed the Picasso Museum.
Tour the Palau de la Musica Catalana and attend an evening performance there. Tour Casa Mila and don't miss the roof!
