Time needed to clear customs in Vancouver airport
Hi there! We're doing the Best of Western Canada & Rocky Mountaineer August 15-25. United just informed us that our flight home from Vancouver has been changed from 3:15 to 2:20. Tauck suggests not booking a flight earlier than 2:30. I spoke with Tauck this afternoon and was told the transfer should get us to the airport around 12:30, barring any traffic mishaps.
Has anyone taken this trip recently? Can you please share how long it took to check in and get through customs. Do you think 10 minutes will make a difference? If we miss the flight, the next one isn't until 11:59. We don't have too many options.
