September 2026 helpful hints for new Tauck travelers

We are booked on Sept 26 Essence of Japan. How many bags can you take, how do you do laundry? Please provide any helpful tips.

    In general they want you to take only 1 large bag. Laundry can be done in hotels or if it is a cruise. you can get laundry done

    I'm on that tour now. They don't seem to limit the bags - in fact, we are sending through our checked luggage and our rollerboards when we travel by train (only taking small totes or backpacks with us). In addition, some people have bought a lot of souvenirs and are buying MORE luggage.
