Northern Spain Sept 4th 2026 trip
Hello - I’m booked solo on the 9/4/26 trip to Barcelona, of course using gift of time so arriving 9/3. We have time to find a fabulous meal or 2 in San Sebastián (so excited to be back there!). Anyone else interested in trying a lunch and/or dinner at some of the Michelin recommended or starred spots?

It’s been ~ fifteen (15) years but we had excellent pintxos in San Sebastián—once at a bar and paid for by our tour director even though we were supposed to be on our own for lunch, and then when we were on our own for dinner at an upscale restaurant where we could order our own combination platters of pintxos. I do not remember the restaurant but it was located near the old section.
We loved this tour and promptly booked the Spain and Portugal tour afterwards. Enjoy!
I was there with my husband back in about 2012, LOVED the pintxos, and of course Tauck is doing a tour for those. We were traveling with another couple, and to accommodate the wife’s food issues, we did NOT get to any of the more wonderful restaurants. That’s why I thought that this time I should do that. Just trolling to see if others on the small group have the same idea of something at least Michelin recommended! It’s such a wonderful area, and the food really is splendid!
The Basque cuisine is so very different from cuisine of other parts of Spain. Have a wonderful time!
Oh, I know i shall! I should have gone by now, but a move to New England and then knee replacement held me off - I am literally counting down the days on my calendar!
