A week in Portugal - free time in Lisbon - has anyone been to Sistema

Trying to plan for our extra in Lisbon at the end of our Oct 15, 2026 tour.

Considering two options - a four hour food tour that visits Baixa, Alfama, Graça, and Chiado neighborhoods. I a
m hoping those who have done A Week in Portugal can tell me if the Tauck tour visits these areas. I don't want to overlap if I will have already been to them on the trip.

Another option I am considering is a day trip to Sistema. Has anyone been?

    Do you mean Sintra? If yes, it makes for a very nice day trip.

    Have you checked your itinerary for which neighborhoods Tauck might take you to? My favorite is Alfama for not only the food but for the overall atmosphere of the area.

    Tauck will take us to Sintra. I am thinking of an add-on to Seisimbra & Arribida National Park. Are you familiar with that?

    I am not familiar with Sesimbra or Arrábida Natural Park.
