I'll be there travelling solo.
My wife and I will be on the trip, that is if the low water levels allow it.
Just receive the Tauck warning letter today via email. I'm not concerned as travel itself is about flexibility and change. See you soon.

I received some great advice from a former 4-star NATO Commander while at the US National War College, "you can be the world's smartest rocket scientist, but you can't stop &^%# from happening. The most successful people are those who respond in the most appropriate way." Sometimes hard to do, but always my goal.
Linda and I are looking forward to this cruise. Too hot in Minneapolis the past week. Tauck will take good care of us all.

As I mentioned, high water and numerous, incalculable, uncontrollable and other variables, make river cruising in Europe a "crap shoot." No thanks as ocean cruises are statistically much less risky. In my 82 days of sea cruising this year, the worst that has happened is a few port excursion cancellations with resultant additional seas days due to perceived unacceptable port conditions, for which all cruise lines are notoriously over-reactive. So, the pack once visit many places is much more assured with sea cruises, versus river, resulting in much less stress.
Oh, and river cruises are over twice the cost per day of sea cruises and for what? As you can see, I'm disgusted with European river cruises and it's lunacy to return until they significantly lessen the risk. Are you listening European River Cruise Industry? Don't tell me there's nothing you can do, because there is.
