The InterContinental in Paris is located next to the Opera House. The hotel is one of our favorites in Europe. Hopefully it is still on this itinerary.
The riverboat is well appointed, the food excellent, the crew friendly and professional, and the common spaces and cabin are very comfortable.

Yes, I agree with kfnknfzk! This was an outstanding cruise. We loved the Intercontinental near the Opera House. We arrived early and were able to get tickets to a ballet. Many great restaurants and shopping in walking distance as well. We loved the unique experiences on this tour such as making macarons at the Le Cordon Bleu cooking school, the winery visit, bike tour and so much more. Enjoy!
Mimitravels - That was such a fun day baking those macarons! And watching the dogs in Camargue searching for truffles and the hosts serving us truffles in their beautiful home. I wanted to stay there!
I read that the Palais Garnier will be closed for several years in order to remove lead and to perform a complete refurbishment. I think the work starts next year.
