Staying later in Vancouver

Late flight home leaving Vancouver. Any suggestions for places to see during afternoon, evening?

    We also have a late evening flight back. Depending on time available from leaving boat to airport I wondered if it would be possible to visit Victora and see the gardens.

    Do you mean the Butchart Gardens, by any chance? They are about 30 minutes out of Victoria by car. This is the web page for directions from Vancouver. http://www.butchartgardens.com/visit/location They give a variety of transport options to Victoria, even sea plane.

    They are glorious and very worth a visit … depending on the time you have available. Just making it to the gate and having to turn around and leave would be tragic. If you don't have the time to get to Butchart, perhaps you might consider either Stanley Park Gardens or the VanDusen Botanical Gardens, both in Vancouver.
