Is there a dive option for our visit to the reef?

    If I remember correctly they mentioned there was diving but only if you could prove you are certified. We found the current were we snorkeled a bit scary with the current.

    Hello mtkleinm,

    There is an option to scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef on this trip. On day 5, the ship, Quicksilver will take guests on a cruise of the Great Barrier Reef. Aboard the ship, the cruise staff will take bookings for scuba diving. There is no need for advance reservations and they charge approx. AUD$110 for introductory and AUD$ 99 for certified diving.
