September 9th "Small Group Tour" to Israel

We are on the September 9th "Small Group Tour" to Israel. We are flying in from Los Angeles on the 7th, arriving on the 8th, to have an extra day to get acclimated and will leave the tour after Jerusalem to do Eilat, Petra and back to Tel Aviv on our own.

    I hope you had an unforgettable trip. I am going in 9-1-15. I am arriving two days early in Tel Aviv. Any suggestions of things to do & see there? Also any thing not mentioned in the brochures that would be helpful to know from your stand point?

    I am going on this tour in March 2015 and am concerned about the conflict with Hamas and ISIS in Syria.
    Did your tour go as expected? Were any changes made for safety reasons. Any suggestions/tips?
