We are considering doing this trip in May. Has anyone been there in May? Please let me know weather and viewing of animals.

    Hi, you can get info about weather on the 'Before you Go' section of the website. For other things like best time to go, I often use the on-line Fodor's guides that gives the pros and cons of when to visit an area.

    We are in Delray Beach and going in August, 2015

    We will be joining you on May 1 and also live in south Florida . We Are leaving april 25 and spending several days in amsterdam before arriving in Cape Town on April 29.
