For those who have been on this trip before, how long does Tauck visit the Chateau de Chillon before embarking on to Gruyeres? Did you feel that you had enough time to explore the castle? Thanks for your feedback.

    I just returned from the tour (3-13 July 2016) and in my opinion we had plenty of time to explore the castle and hit the gift shop afterwards there (our two local guides for the castle were excellent and covered everything during the 1 1/2 to 2 hour tour).

    I was on the Switzerland tour in 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Chateau de Chillon. I second the previous respondant and felt the time spent was sufficient and not rushed.
