Malaria Medication

Is it necessary and/or suggested to take malaria preventive medication on this trip? If any of the Tauck tour directors who have conducted this trip can see this, what are their thoughts? What percentage of their guests have taken this type medication on their trips? Thanks!

    Roger, the new guidelines for the forum suggest that you talk with your doctor about health related issues. We slways take malaria meds based on CDC recommendations but have never spoken to others on our tours to know if they are taking meds.

    Malaria exists throughout the year in all areas including the cities of Delhi and Mumbai.

    We ask that you discuss your journey with your physician at least four to six weeks in advance of your departure.
